Client – Irish Landmark Trust

Architect – Shaffrey & Associates

Contract Manager – Tim Dunwoody

The mews building at the rear of No.63 Merrion Square is an integral part of one of the most significant survivals of an 18th century Dublin townhouse  – comprising main house with garden, mews and stables with its own small garden – within the classic Fitzwilliam/Merrion Square area of Dublin.
This project entailed complete refurbishment of the mews, coach house and stables.  The mews provides quality accommodation for the Irish Landmark Trust and stables is currently leased to the Mounted Division of An Garda Siochana and is used as a base for the horses while on duty in the city.
